New Initiative – Transparency in the Presidential Campaign
On September 19, 2011, Transparency International – Bulgaria invited the Presidential candidates to sign an Integrity Pact for the financing and conducting election campaigns.
The document aims to commit the candidates for President and Vice President to carry out their election campaigns in accordance to the recognized standards for transparency, openness and accountability, as well as the implementation of measures against vote buying.
